Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 revives the good, old, action platform run & gun genre, but this time with a bunch of humor and buckets of blown off body parts. In this sequel to Guns, Gore & Cannoli, Vinnie Cannoli’s story continues and this time it’s personal. The game is made with Unity, i have work 4 month on the project as an intern level designer.
I have created two levels for the game. Both levels are located at the end of the game and so have a high difficulty and are using most of the mechanics of the previous levels. The first level that i made was going through a mine first and then a secret lab and the second level was going through a missile launch platform. I had to adapt my level design to these spaces, for example i made a level going down to make it look like a mine and reuse/adapt a falling crate from previous one of the level to create falling rocks that fall and then roll down the mine to crush the player. Then I have designed a boss and begun to prototype his arena. And at the end of my internship i have programmed an ammo bar for the player.
